The Sacred Spider

As Witches, Metaphysical workers, Pagans, and Spiritualists (who have I missed?)... we tend to have one thing in common and that is reverence for the Earth and Nature. We spend time in the rivers and streams cleansing our souls, get solace and energy from trees and read the clouds for symbols... I mean who doesn't turn to nature for relaxation and rejuvenation?

The Golden Ball & The Third Eye

As promised, here is part 2 of Developing Your Spiritual Tools - Beyond the Basics

Here are three more, very short exercises. These can be performed solo or in combination with any of the other exercises I have provided.

Protection Work / Energy Shield:

Developing Your Spiritual Tools - Beyond the Basics

I have put together some simple exercises to help you hone in on, and strengthen your gifts! Many people know that they have spiritual or psychic abilities or tendencies, but do not know where to begin with strengthening or controlling them. Here are some practices to assist with development.

Once you have a regular practice involving work such as this you will begin to have insights and further developments on your own. This is especially true if you pay attention to the insights you have when you practice.

Snowflake Obsidian

Candle Color: White.

Chakra: Crown and root.

Flowers & Plants: Snowdrop, sweet tobacco and white hyacinth.

Saint Anne

In the East, she is celebrated on the Sunday before the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, September 8th.

Her day of the week is Monday & her primary color is white, although many associate yellow and green with her as well.

Saint Philomena

Saint Philomena’s candle color is green, pink or light blue. Her offerings include sweet cakes, pink cakes, pink lemonade, candies, sweet drinks, colas, toys, red and white braided ropes, pink flowers (lots & lots of flowers!), lilies, perfumes (especially anais anais perfume), make-up, pastel silks, glitter, rosaries, pastel-colored jewelry, marshmallows and French pastries.

Her emblems are anchors, palms, lilies, and arrows. Her day of the week is Saturday.

Her cult has survived for many years and she is believed to have the largest amount of miracles ascribed to her

Spiritual Cleansing Citrus Bath

My favorite bath for Spiritual Cleansing is the citrus bath. This formula is perfect for almost any situation which requires cleansing. It is especially useful in situations where uplifting & enlightening energies are needed. It can also be performed after a more intensive or bitter bath such as Road Opening or Blockage removal. In very serious cases, I do recommend a type of BlockBuster bath rather than the Citrus. However, the Citrus bath can certainly be utilized when other precautions or Spiritual support are already in process.
