Snowflake Obsidian

I don't always work with stones, but I do have a few long-time favorites. Snowflake Obsidian is one of those!

Associations:

Associated Crystals: Apache tears, black onyx and sardonyx.

Candle Color: White.

Chakra: Crown and root.

Number:8

Zodiac: Virgo & Capricorn

Planet: Saturn

Element: Fire & Earth

Powers: Generally the same as Obsidian-Protection, Grounding, Divination, and Peace.

Flowers & Plants: Snowdrop, sweet tobacco and white hyacinth.

Herbs - Incenses - Oils: Cedar, cypress, lemongrass and yarrow.

Obsidian is a naturally occurring glass. The Aztecs fashioned flat, square mirrors of it for Divination. It was also popular for forming knives, spear points, and arrowheads

Snowflake obsidian is the crystal equivalent of yin and yang.
