Saint Martin of Porres

Saint Martin of Porres is the patron Saint of African-Americans, bi-racial people, barbers, hairdressers, race relations, social justice, employees of animal shelters, housekeepers, veterinarians, the poor, Peru, innkeepers, public education, public health, fundraisers and charitable organizations or projects.

Saint Martin was a vegetarian. His symbols are the broom and crucifix. His colors are purple & white. His day of the week is Thursday.

Saint Martin of Tours

There are two Saint Martins: the recently canonized Saint Martin de Porres and the older Saint Martin of Tours. The latter is known in Latin America as San Martin Caballero, "Saint Martin the Horse-rider”, and he is the one most frequently encountered in good luck charms.

Saint Martin of Tours, or Saint Martin of Caballero, has his day of the week on Tuesday. His emblem is a horse, a sword, a goose and a torn cape. His colors are red and white.

Spiritual Cleansing Citrus Bath

My favorite bath for Spiritual Cleansing is the citrus bath. This formula is perfect for almost any situation which requires cleansing. It is especially useful in situations where uplifting & enlightening energies are needed. It can also be performed after a more intensive or bitter bath such as Road Opening or Blockage removal. In very serious cases, I do recommend a type of BlockBuster bath rather than the Citrus. However, the Citrus bath can certainly be utilized when other precautions or Spiritual support are already in process.

Basic Spell Casting Steps for Candle Magick

These steps are coming from a Universalist perspective. Your steps can be used with or without any kind of religion, Spiritual practice or belief system. It's important to do what feels right for you.

Saint Joseph

His day of the week is Sunday or Wednesday. His emblem is a pitcher and loaf of bread or a lily. His colors are yellow, green and brown. When Working with Saint Joseph the Worker, he must always be pictured holding the infant Jesus.

In dedication to Saint Joseph, it is traditional to give alms to the poor, raise money for charities, give food to the underprivileged, or to share blessings with those in need. Building an Altar on his feast day is meant to be an act of devotion to Saint Joseph which is also beneficial for the community, not simply for personal gain.

Saint Expedite

Saint Expedite is the Patron Saint of the Republic of Molossia. He is also the patron of emergencies and solutions to those emergencies. He is traditionally depicted as a Roman soldier, holding a palm leaf in his left hand, and raising a cross with the word "Hodie" (today) on it. His right foot is stepping on a raven, which is speaking the word "Cras" (tomorrow).
