Cleansing Unwanted Energy

  Many people contact me with depressed conditions in which they are concerned that they may be cursed with negative magick. The first thing that I tell people is, to be honest with themselves and try to objectively assess if they are in any way contributing to the negativity of their own situation. We are only human, and we are certainly prone to negative thought patterns when in situations which are not in our control or are unfavorable. It's important to do some serious self-assessing in these situations. Negative thoughts can lead to negative situations, or can further worsen an already bad condition.   

     It is important to note that it is usually not likely that black or negative magick is being used against an individual. Although, negative energy and thoughts, on the other hand, can very easily affect your situation and circumstances. 

    The second thing I advise is that individuals begin to do some practical work on their own to restore balance and start taking back control in their lives. The below practices can greatly improve your conditions whatever they may be. Even if there is a severe condition in your life, these procedures can get you to a place where you are strong enough to further assess and improve things. 

 

  Meditations: For gaining balance, grounding, and protection.

To be performed: At any time as often as once per day, at any time of the month. 

Directions: 

1. Lie on the floor or sit in a simple cross-legged position on the floor, take at least three very deep breaths. Breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Fill your belly all the way up with air and release the air completely. 

2. Imagine your body filling up with white light which comes down through the top of your head and travels down your spine, eventually filling up your entire body with golden, white light. 

3. Imagine your heart as a green sacred heart. See a powerful, warm, golden flame in your heart. Now see this flame extend to surround you with protective energy. This protective heart flame will only let positive influences and vibrations into your life. 

Purification Baths: For removing the negative vibrations from yourself and your life

To be performed: Best in the evenings, as often as once per day, at any time of the month. 

Directions: 

1. Add one cup of sea salt to your bathwater. If you wish you can add a couple of drops of uplifting essential oil, such as lavender or rose. (you can also add some white or apple cider vinegar if you would like an extra kick)

2. Know that the magickal bath is removing negative influences from yourself and your life. Feel yourself being purified. When you drain the water imagine the negativity going down the drain.

3. Burn a candle while you bathe if you would like to add an extra kick. When you look at the flame imagine that it is offering a fire of protection and burning away negativity. 

Cleansing the Energy in the Home: for removing negativity and protecting you

To be performed: During the waxing moon, best on Mondays. 

1. Create a floor wash by adding vinegar & salt to plain water. After your normal sweeping & mopping use the floor wash. Imagine the floor wash removing negative vibrations from your home and creating a barrier of protective energy. (for an extra kick boil cinnamon sticks in water & add the other ingredients to this after it has cooled).

2. Burn Frankincense or clove in your home as a strong protective agent.
